Kevin Allsopp

Vice President Regional Director Canada and General Manager

As Vice President Regional Director Canada and General Manager, Kevin Allsopp is responsible for providing all business units with shared service project resources while now also providing local direction and leadership to the corporate functions of Finance, Human Resources and Contracts Management.

Hans Verwijs

Vice President Project Management

As Vice President of Project Management, Hans is responsible for all project managers, procurement and project controls. Hans oversees the standardization of project execution documents and reports and the refinement of project execution processes.

Hans has over 25 years in various industries, such as electronics manufacturing, defense-sector system engineering, high-tech project management and oil and gas. Previous experience at Wood Group Mustang includes scheduling and cost estimating, project engineering, project management and his most recent role as Manager of Projects.

A lifelong learner, Hans enjoys being both student and teacher. Hans has earned various diplomas and certificates from the University of Calgary and SAIT, and teaches Project Management courses at SAIT part-time.

Hans holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Waterloo and a Masters of Applied Science (Metallurgical Engineering) from Dalhousie University, and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), and is a registered Project Management Professional (PMP).

Iain MacIver

Vice President Finance and Accounting

As Vice President of Finance and Accounting, Iain MacIver is responsible for all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and analysis, as well as overseeing the accounting department and personnel.

Iain has over 26 years of experience in accounting and finance, as well as global energy industry experience. Born in Canada, Iain grew up in Scotland and has worked around the world, most recently in Russia with our affiliate Wood Group PSN. His international experience includes work in the Middle East, Asia, and Kazakhstan.

In his spare time, Iain enjoys soccer, music, and socializing with friends and family.

Iain has a Higher National Certificate in Accounting from Glasgow College.

Bob Fournier

Business Unit Manager – Automation, Canadian region

Bob is the Business Unit Manager – Automation, Canadian region. He brings to his role a wealth of knowledge. With over 32 years of engineering and design experience in the oil and gas industry, Bob has extensive project engineering and design expertise and has managed engineering and design teams on domestic and international projects.

Since joining Wood Group Mustang in 2004, Bob has worked as the Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Manager before being promoted to Vice President, Technical, responsible for all engineering disciplines.

When not at work, Bob keeps busy with home modifications, small construction projects, golfing, hiking and snowshoeing.

Bob has attended multiple technology programs at SAIT in Engineering Drafting, Mechanical Design, Petroleum Engineering, Process Control and PLC-5/RTU programming. He is a member of the Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists (ASET) with an R.E.T. designation.

Scott Rempel

Vice President Business Development and Strategy, Canadian region

As Vice President Business Development and Strategy, Scott Rempel is responsible for fostering client relationships, identifying strategic opportunities to grow our business, as well as overseeing marketing and communications activities.

An accomplished sales and marketing professional with a strong depth of experience, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. His employment experience spans a number of industries, including media, real estate, electricity, oil and gas, and most notably, engineering.

An alumnus of the University of Calgary, Scott earned both a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, and a Master's degree in Business Administration. He has project management and executive leadership experience combined with a strong sales and marketing background.

A serving board member of the Canadian Heavy Oil Association (CHOA), Scott is very active in the heavy oil and oil sands communities.

Scott is a positive role model for youth in our community. He leads and mentors in a volunteer capacity as a minor hockey and little league baseball coach. He is also a student mentor through the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business.

Born in Saskatchewan and raised in Calgary,) Scott enjoys spending time with his family, running, golfing, guitars, skiing.
